From carbon chassis to upper, all in house
Nimbl builds road shoes in Italy — in its own factory, from the carbon chassis to the upper. That is the reason for the price and at the same time for the difference you only notice after two hours: a tray-shaped carbon shell that holds the foot instead of merely carrying it, a very stiff sole with a low stack height, and a wide toe box that actually leaves the toes room. The AIR weighs under 200 grams in size 43. Alongside it the Exceed, Glide, Urano and Expect — for road, gravel, track and triathlon.
Why a shoe does not fit online
With shoes it is not the size that decides but the width — and that is on no label. A shoe that feels pleasant in the shop can press after three hours, and half a size is no detail on the bike. So you try them on here, with your own insoles and your own cleats, and we look at how the foot sits inside the shoe. It takes twenty minutes and it is the reason we carry this brand at all.
